Bear was Bursting (with Love!)

When we refresh a Lovey we spend a lot of time getting the stuffing just right! Bear was no exception.

First, we studied how well he sat up:

And how well he fell over:

Then we looked at how his paws flipped and flopped:

After a conversation with the Bear's lovely owner about how much Bear should sit up, fall over, flip and flop, we got started!

Bear was here to get ready for his new owner, a new baby arriving this winter, and needed a head-to-toe spa day.

We started with unstuffing and found that Bear was filled with foam - lots and lots of foam!
Wheee!  It's snowing!!

Once the foam was cleaned out (with the help of a vacuum cleaner!), we realized that Bear's seams were so fragile that they started to split:

We promise this looks worse than it was!

Suddenly we were looking at a total bear makeover!  So we gave Bear a bath, turned him inside out, and restitched every single seam.

After a restuff (and some careful testing!) Bear was all ready for the next generation!

Time for a hug!

Thanks for coming over, Bear!  Glad we were able to get you into shape!
