Happy Birthday, Madame President!

Amalia turns seven today! After school we'll head to some fabric and craft stores to spend some birthday money on whatever catches her fancy.

Yesterday was her birthday party, where eight of her closest friends joined her to weave on hula hoop looms, listen to Duke Ellington, and sip cider.

We made the cake together - it was woven too :)
